The race offers athletes an inimitable opportunity to swim(1.2 mi) in the protected waters of Biscayne Bay, bike (56 mi) through downtown –the heart of this vivacious city– on their way to the striking Florida Everglades Park, and run (13.1) along the scenic coast of Atlantic Ocean. This is the fourth year the race is taking place in Miami being one of the largest races in the IRONMAN 70.3 circuit with an allotment for 3,000 participants.
