Our goal is to restore a maximum level of function and help prevent re-injury. We are confident we can get you back in action FAST!
It’s rare – but we treat our patients one-on-one, not in a group setting. Our staff of highly trained physical therapists have all completed extensive continuing education and specialize in rehabilitation therapy for people with injuries from motor vehicle accidents, complicated spinal disorders, sports injuries and post-surgical cases.
Our hands-on approach begins with a detailed examination, evaluation and diagnosis. We collaborate with the patient to include his or her needs for rehabilitation therapy and develop an appropriate plan of care to treat identified problems. Our staff and therapists are friendly, compassionate, listen to your needs, and help in every way to make your experience a positive one so you can heal quickly, and stay healthy longer.

Electro Neuro Muscular Therapy (ENMT)
Injuries mostly occur from high force motion, bad posture, or continued overload (repetitive motions) to untrained tissues such as tendons, ligaments, capsules and cartilage. Our muscles are controlled by our central nervous system which includes our spinal nerves and brain. Once an injury occurs the brain signals those muscles to tighten up to protect the tissues that were damaged. With the use of an electric stimulator that can work safely in different frequencies to recruit either slow twitch muscle fibers (stability muscles) or fast twitch muscle fibers (strength and power muscles) to relax those guarded muscles and to improve blood flow rich in nutrients.
We assess the area of injury of where the kinetic chain is causing the poor movement and treat the origin of injury rather the end (damaged tissue). By reducing edema and muscle guarding, we are putting the body in the optimum environment for healing, accelerating the recovery process and reducing pain. Re-educating the neuro-muscular connection to address the origin of the injury and restoring proper mechanics can help accelerate your recovery results and aid in long-term prevention of injuries.
Balance is the ability to maintain your center of gravity within your base of support or, in simple terms, the ability to stand up and not fall over. Balance problems can occur when standing, walking, and even sitting. Whether the result of aging, surgery or neurological complications, poor balance can have a significantly negative effect on a person’s quality of life and in some cases even limit their independence.
Benefits of Balance Training include:
- Reduce Fall Risk
- Reduce Fear of Falling
- Improve Mobility
- Improve Balance
- Improve Strength
- Improve Movement
- Improve Flexibility and Posture
- Increase Activity Levels
If you or your loved one is struggling with balance, it’s critical to seek care by a specialist before the condition worsens. At OrthoNOW, our therapists are experts at evaluating your needs and developing individualized physical activity plans to help improve the strength, stability, and mobility and you can live without fear of falling.
Did you know it’s impossible to achieve total health without a sufficient amount of skeletal impact? Your bones perform many essential functions that rely on healthy impact as one of the fundamental requirements for optimal health.
If you don’t use your muscles, they start to grow weaker and are less effective. Bones work the same way. Without sufficient skeletal impact, they can become brittle and thin. So yes – it’s really that important to living an independent and quality life.
OrthoNOW’s Micro-Impact Platform’s low-magnitude mechanical impulses passively exercise your bones and muscles, helping you maintain your daily skeletal impact. By simply standing on our evidence-based Micro-Impact Platform technology for just 10 to 20 minutes, three times a week, patients have shown improved blood flow, relief from joint, knee and back pain, increased stability and improved balance. It’s a safe, easy and effective way to move your body and increase blood flow, helping bones and joints recover naturally and manage your overall bone health.
