Technology We Use

We use state-of-the-art technology at OrthoNOW for patients to register, store medical records and communicate with OrthoNOW staff and clinicians.

OrthoNOW® APP

OrthoNOW proudly offers you this revolutionary healthcare designed to enhance your orthopedic experience when you need it – and at no cost to you. There’s something in this industry-leading mobile app for everyone! If you already have the app downloaded into your phone, please remember to update your OrthoNOW® Mobile App to enjoy the newest features.

OrthoNOW LIVE (Telehealth)

OrthoNOW offers Telehealth services. Convenient expert advice by video!

Seeing an orthopedic specialist is easy with OrthoNOW Live. Request a telehealth visit from the comfort of your home.

Electronic Registration (e Registration system)

OrthoNOW uses HIPAA-compliant online forms to register new patients enabling them to transmit their Protective Health Information (PHI), including medical history, prior to their initial visit. Our HIPAA-compliant forms automatically encrypt form data, guaranteeing the privacy of our patients’ health information.

Patients will also be asked to complete a COVID-19 Screening form upon arrival to their in-person appointment, as part of the CDC guidelines for healthcare practices.

Medical Records

OrthoNOW uses an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system with an exclusive focus on the specialized needs of orthopedic practices. Our EHR streamlines workflow resulting in better patient care.

Our Patient Portal can enhance patient-provider communication and enable patients to check test results and review their medical record.

OrthoNOW® uses My Medical Images to easily share x-rays and MRI’s with patients. This tool gives our patients the ability to upload and share medical images with OrthoNOW® at a time of orthopedic need. Upload images into My Medical Images.

COVID-19 Screening

The COVID-19 Screening form is typically filled upon patients’ arrivals to their in-person appointment. If you are a prospective patient, please call the OrthoNOW nearest you for specific Center information.

OrthoChat®

OrthoChat® is our new module for clinician collaboration on a patient case! All clinicians at OrthoNOW (clinic and rehab) and Badia Hand to Shoulder Center will use this feature to consult with subspecialists and surgical coordinators. Additionally, approved subspecialists in our network will use it. This feature, developed entirely by OrthoNOW, provides a HIPAA compliant platform for immediate consults on difficult cases. Clinicians can text and share patient images and x-rays with each other. Patients will not have access to this feature. (We will no longer use SirenMD, effective immediately.)

OrthoChat

OrthoNOW.net

OrthoNOW.net is the intranet that OrthoNOW uses to communicate internally between clinicians and employees, store marketing collateral, forms, and other documentation.
